Christopher Emmanuel "Chris" Paul (born May 6, 1985) is great American high quality basketball player for the L . A . Clippers on the National Basketball Association (NBA). Standing at 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m) and weighing 175 lb (79 kg), he's got started specifically at the position of point guard. Paul has received the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, an Olympic gold medal, and led the NBA on assists 3 times and steals 6 times. He's also been chosen to 7 NBA All-Star teams, six All-NBA teams, and 6 All-Defensive teams.
Paul was a McDonald's All-American in high school. He attended Wake Forest University for 2 years of college basketball when he assisted the Demon Deacons reach their first ever number one position. He had been selected fourth overall in the 2005 NBA draft with the New Orleans Hornets and traded with the Clippers in 2011.
On December 8, 2011, the Hornets agreed to a three-team deal transferring Paul to the Los Angeles Lakers. A NBA, which owned the team at the time, nullified the deal, with commissioner David Stern claiming New Orleans would be better off holding Paul.The teams involved on the deal in attempted to lobby the league to reverse its ruling and reconstruct the deal does not help.On December 12, the Hornets accepted a trade sending Paul into the Los Angeles Clippers, but the deal broke down once the NBA added further needs to the original conditions. Two days later, the teams at long last made the deal, transferring Paul and two future second round draft picks to the Clippers for Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and the Minnesota Timberwolves' unprotected first round pick inside the 2012 draft. Upon the deal's conclusion, Paul declared that he might choose into the final year for his agreement and remain on Los Angeles for about 2 more years.
